OK, to recap, Ciaran bought a 2005 Piagio Typhoon, it had a 70 bore fitted. He had it for an hour and the bore exploded!

A few of us from RBB stripped the engine and split the lump, we cleaned out the bits of smashed piston and Shiver magicaly cleaned the head. Rebuilt it, filled the petrol and oil. New spark plug ready to go...

Gonna try fitting a stock standard carb tomorrow morning and see if it will fire up.

OK, no petrol is getting down the tubes to the carbs, I cheked the compression by removing the spark plug and holding my hand over the hole, kick it over and could feel air hitting my hand. I have ordered a new petrol tap. study

Listen... Dont knock it PRE i've solved a few problems in my time with a good old fashioned hammer bashing!! Sometimes the problem just disapears other times it multiplys tenfold but hey you cant win them all!! LOL!! Good luck with the bike guys!
