Cancer help us beat it Empty
PostSubject: Cancer help us beat it   Cancer help us beat it EmptyThu Jun 11, 2009 3:52 pm

My close friend and his wife lost thier young son Montell to cancer in 2006, I was with them when the life support machines were turned off. He was not diagnosed with any illness and whilst playing with toys he fell suddenly ill resulting in his death later that day at Great Almond Street Hospital. It was so unexpected although nothing can really prepare you for the loss of a child. Directly after the doctors explained to the family and friends that they were going to turn off the life support machines Patrick turned and asked me to pray.

My elder sister Siobhain was diagnosed with cancer, she under went treatment including kemo theorpy which was successfull and then radio theorpy. Thanks to the advances in research in 2009 she made a recovery and beat the cancer.

Montell's mum Deborah is asking her friends and family for sponsership as she is taking part in the cancer research race for life on 14th June. As a family friend I asked if i could ask my extended family to also sponser her Wink
God has blessed us with wisdom to save lives in the battle against cancer. PLEASE sponser Deborah as she runs in Montell's memory, whether its £1 or £1000 please do it.

THANX
