| Thanks for the link! Luckily my commute route on the A23 was during the trial scheme so ive always had the convenience of riding in bus lanes, but after the full launch in january its been really good for getting to places faster in central london! | |

| its good for when we want to nip past but if theres a bus in front your then stuck and we all know cars hate us and 9/10 times the driver thinks ha im not letting you back in. i stuck to filtering past and wasnt keen on getting caught on by a bus lane camera | |

| I hear you loud and clear, but overall having the lanes available to us is a good thing. Many a time I've been stuck behind a bus, but as you know bikes are extremely quick and nimble and can sneek in front of a car before the driver even realises!!! I do it all the time | |

| one thing i wanna share with you all is to be very careful in bus lanes when it is WET.
my last accident was last september, riding in a bus lane when it had rained earlier. There is a lot of spilt diesel from busses that lingers in bus lanes, and water unlocks it and makes it very slippery as i soon found out when my front wheel locked under braking and i lowsided!
In rain if you have the option to ride in car lane, try and do so!

| You lot are up early!!! I was told by a reliable source that if you ride close to the white line in a bus lane they will not book you, so i have always used them However, I think its good to have that legal access and will be checking the link | |

| good stuff. also with riding the bus lanes, watch out for cars and vans coming into it as well. as they can use some of them too | |

| I've been using them since the new trial came in. I think that it's excellent. Far safer. Have done the lil survey a couple of times too | |

| An wasier way than checking the sign posts to see which lanes you can go in.. check the lines by the side of the road... if its red then you can go in it anytime you like... if its yellow then you can only go in it at certain times... usually off peak hours like after 7pm..... RED means GO!! lol | |

Yep thats true as well, however a quick note is that if you are venturing further out from central london, not every single borough has taken aboard the bikes in bus lanes scheme so their red route bus lanes may not always be open for bikes! but in central london, yep just look at the lines!
