Box Hill any given Sunday

Box Hill can be found off the main A24 between Leatherhead and Dorking, it is along a dual carriageway with some deceptive bends and a nice little blast down to the roundabout.


The main car park, Rykas and gathering place for bikes is at the bottom of Box Hill and you can enter this from the Burford Bridge roundabout entrance. If you are heading south towards Dorking you can enter directly from the A24 on a short slip road just before the roundabout.

Or if you are coming from the croydon/sutton area you can follow the A217 up until tadworth roundabout. 3rd exit and carry on round the country roads until you reach the top of box hill. The view point is more than amazing at night. Carry on down box hill through the dark twisty road until you reach the bottom. Ryka's cafe is just on the left.

One thing I would say though at this time of the year is to be vary weary of poolice. They are on their annual speed crackdown. Especially on known biking routes such as to box hill...
