| Ok so not much of a project, but more of a sort out of my bike, bits of what I've done and what's gonna be done will add various before and after pics if I have any! First major mod was the DB screen from airblade, solid black, bought from eBay for £40 Inc. P+P before - with a certain ugly mug on top after next I replaced the front n rear pads, front caliper is gonna need a rebuild soon, cheaper to buy a new one me thinks! Pads were absolutely ruined lol how I even managed to stop as hard as I do I don't know! Also changed the disc at the same time! Disc is Armstrong rotor, £125 bought from http://www.bikebitzuk.co.uk/ - excellent value for money and top service, well recommended! Before after worn pads lol i strongly suggest no one rides with pads like these lol they are all I have really done so far, next will be fork rebuild with heavier fluid 20w, dips too much at the front with what's in there atm, seals are on they're way too! Damon said he can fix my fairing for me (if your Reading this mate, is it still ok?) once they are fixed I'm going to respray every gloss black apart from the wheels, want them the same colour but they need a new coat as they are scuffed like mad! Then it's going to be an engine sort out, running very loose so needs one big overhaul, needs new balancing gears for sure as it vibrates - badly but feels great to the missus lol looking at getting a new top end getting parts from www.PJME.co.uk - best 2stroke suppliers around imo, wiseco piston please and finally I'm looking at getting a Jolly MotoSP exhaust system, best exhaust made for the RS125, would love to get a Yasuni but the are specially made for GP bikes and cost a fortune! Anyways hope you like what I'm gonna be doing to her! Yes I will be updating this everytime I do something Bert

| Dude, make sure you post pics and even document in the 'how to' section, you'll be suprised how a simple thing like removing a fairing panel or a wheel or something is a great help to someone else when u take pics and explain how you did it etc I'm looking forward to seeing her when she all finished | |

| havent updated in a while, bought and fitted some new bits and pieces for the bike... ive fitted the new balancer gears - i will do a write up in another thread, was a pain in the arse, should only take 30mins to do but i took my time to get it right, 3hours later the bike was running great lol ive bought: Chain and Sprockets Pneumatic PowerValve (weighs literally nothing compared to standard RAVE power unit) ROTAX Single Ring Race Piston ... YUMMMMMMMMMMM PiperCross Panel Filter HEL front and rear black braided lines Front Caliper - i have a write up on this aswell as pics oh and another set of front pads ... set number 3 since june here she is ontop of beachy head ... yes it was proper eerie being up there, wind rain lightening and getting dark .....but what a pic! managed to get a few quotes on getting the bodywork sorted... £300 for repairing and respraying metallic black, thats also trying to get the solo pod and Y panels to be joint up into 1 piece instead of 3 and covering up the hole/slot where the bum pad is... yes one unit! want that sealed off also going to get my rims the same as these i also have a 7x5 plate on the way too and have a new set of indicators and red bar ends to fit, oh and a new battery too one slight problem i have though, is there any electricians in the house? my lights keep blowing a fuse, i think there is something that keeps shorting out - my guess is on the flasher/pass light, i have these on there at the mo and they work fine, but its only when i hit the pass light all my electrics cut out - the dash goes, my lights and indicators go, but engine still runs... it was doing this before i replaced my bulbs | |

| I take it you don't want me to do the fairings then mate? I'll beat your £300 quote
also r.e the wiring, check that you haven't got a loose ground wire somewhere. Or maybe one or more of the contacts have corroded. If you can't see anything, Give any contacts you can see a clean with a wire brush and then coat everything with wd40.
You've got my number so give me a bell/ text if you need anything mate.

as for the electrics i will have a look tomorrow when its brighter outside, ive got a feeling the contacts have corroded
