| today I find out about it. I was on my way to work and for no reason when I saw taking a left turn I lean my bike on the left but I though at that moment what if my body stay straight or even try to lean the opposite way. so I did. and I liked it and I start doing it at all turns and corners. I felt more confident and i started to take those corners & turns much faster then I usually do (daily routine roads so I know them like it was my track race).
is it a good thing to do. or when I get a bigger bike it's no good.
usually I don't like to lean too much simply because I don't trust my bike and the tyres i got. but doing the opposite way just does it for me.
what you think? anyone does it? | |

| ah yes, I should have spotted what you ment as that's how I ride. lol at speed you still counter steer but push the bike down as well. but it feels all wrong on an r1. in your pick the rider is going slowly (nice ktm tho) | |

| I know what you mean, I do this sometimes moving my bike between my legs. Its ok to do at relitively slow speeds but it will slow your cornering potential down. You might be able to lean your bike lower like this because you wont be so worried cause your body is not leaning low but part of the fun of owning a bigger bike is getting your knee down unless of course you ride a moto then its getting your 'foot' down For you and your current bike its all good, just keep riding and gaining experience | |
