Hi all - new biker on the roads Empty
PostSubject: Hi all - new biker on the roads   Hi all - new biker on the roads EmptyMon May 18, 2009 2:01 am

Hi everyone!

I am a recent cager convert, I passed my CBT 2 months ago and have been loving every minute of it. I commute to work rain or shine on my trusty YBR 125. I don't think I am a natural to biking, havign struggled with the evil u turn, but as I guess I haven't dropped or crashed my bike yet I can't be that bad. There have been a few hair raising moments when impatient car drivers have tried to kill me, but thankfully they have all failed. Why do all the psychos on the road drive audis and bmws??

I am still deciding which licence to go for (restricted or unrestricted) so for now I am content with my 125 till I work out where I want to go from here.

So see you on the roads, or maybe a meet up in the future Very Happy

I am based near Guildford, Surrey, and can be found on a daily basis chasing trucks up and down the A3 Razz

I have already expressed my interest in the FR 125 ride, lets hope it all comes together!

hey welcome to FR!
Glad you're up for the 125 ride, it might have a slight delay in organisation as im over my head in work at the moment, but by the time the weather gets clearer and hotter we will definitely organise it!

Ride safe in the meantime cheers
