First thing first, all new riders think they have an issue with cornering and I am sure the experienced riders will agree that the answer is practice.

Here are some tips on cornering but please feel free to add your own point of view.
If you are aproaching a right hander, keep to the left and look at your exit point. Do the opposite on a left hander and fix your eyes on the exit line, your bike will follow. A common mistake is the rider looking at the part of the corner they do not want to hit and they end up doing just that. Crashing where they fixed their eyes.
Also body positioning on the bike, trust your bike and lean inton the corner. Watch the clip below king
