How do you ride in a group without stopping every 2 minutes to wait for people held up by traffic or slower riders?
You use the corner man system.
sunny
I'll attempt to explain this very simple and effective method

Identify to the group who is who:
Nominated Leader (Rider in front)
Nominated tail gunner(s) (Rider at the rear)

When the lead rider makes a turn or exit at a roundabout he points at the corner and the next rider in line who stops at the corner to mark the way for the following riders. This rider MUST not leave his/her post until the tail gunner arrives and signals him/her to continue.
On a large ride you can sit there for a long time but must not go unti the tail gunner arrives or you will lose people.

If you follow this method you will not lose riders as every corner will be marked, it also makes the ride good for faster riders and slower riders in the same group. Just remember NOT to undertake others racing back to the front or ride to close to each other.

Feel free to add anything king
