Thanks guys im just about to update more and it was done with some halfords ( ford signal green paint ) from rattle cans

it came out really well

and yes damon i dont belive ive ever seen a green aprillia so i thought id be daring Very Happy

it isnt the battery its the starter motor Sad so ive orderd a new one should be here wednesday

It might be your battery. Even though it says it's charged it may not be working when under load. Get a multimeter on it and check the voltage. It should be about 13V with no load and shouldnt really drop to less that 12V under load. Press the starter and see what it says

Also, to check the starter. run a direct feed from the battery to starter motor. If it works then you know the problem is elsewhere

it works but with a nasty clunking sound ( plus if you shake it you can here all the shit inside frayed ect ) so its gotta be

By the way, I see you have stubbied your can. Take a look at a video of mine. I got my standard can and took a hacksaw to it.
