What: This is a mentoring ride for all small or restricted bikes, we will be looking at defensive riding, filtering safely, overtaking, cornering etc
When: Sunday 31st May @ 1pm
Where: Meet outside Metropolis Motorcycle shop near Vauxhaul Bridge
Who: Mentors are Afro and RedZ

This is a mentoring ride for all small or restricted bikes, THERE ARE ONLY 5 PLACES it is strictly first come first serve so you need to PM your name to REDZ asap if you wanna be on this Very Happy

It is free to join this ride but if you commit to joining it please dont let us down by not showing up.

A faster ride for bigger bikes is in the process of being organised looking at cornering, overtaking and defensive riding.

I really want to come along but to be completely honest the thought of driving into London scares the crap outta me pale

I've only been riding 2 months and always hated driving in London in a car. I don't think it would be a nice chilled out ride for me heh but sign me up.... (if theres still room that is).

Sorry guys but I'm gonna have to bail on this one.

I've been working all day on my bike but I've still got problems with it.

Will make the next day for sure.

Apologies Sad

No problem Afro we were both looking forward to this, and meeting some like minded people, but shit happens Wink

I just hope you get your bike sorted! I know I would be gutted if my bike wasn't right ...

Overall I love my YBR - its cheap, light and never failed me (yet). The only drawback is I wish it could squeeze another 10mph out of it. Sitting on the A3 at 65 mph is not ideal. It would just be nice to keep up with the cars a bit more.

But bear in mind I have nothing to compare it to as this is my first bike Laughing

Dissapointed this didnt happen but we will plan it again real soon, it was funny cause I went to the meeting spot at 10am and there was an instructer with 2 riders who were meeting at the same time. If you guys had come you would of thought that was our ride Laughing
In the mean time there is nothing stoppin us all from meeting up, keep checking the ride out section and post any ideas you have sunny
