After saving for a long long time, I've finally bit the bullet and bought myself an R1. Bought it off an old bloke (family friend) who only rode it on warm sunday summer mornings. Its immaculate, 5,000 miles on the clock with MOTs to back it up as true mileage. Fitted with ohlins damper with harris bracket, harris rearsets, akropovic system and lots of other bits and pieces. She was grey originally, and I bought a carbon fibre rear end, mud guards (fenders), chain guard, side panels, air box cover. I fitted a power commander, carbon Quill T3 cans, Renthal sprockets changing the gearing 2 teeth up on the rear and down a tooth on the front.
